I work on research and evaluation projects that examine the delivery of education in a variety of settings . Below are a few current and recent projects.


New York HSI STEM Hub

Co-Principal Investigator

I help lead the design and implementation of faculty professional development workshops for Hispanic-Serving Institutions in the SUNY and CUNY systems. I support a system of continuous improvement through program evaluation to best serve participants and meet grant goals.

ALRISE Alliance

Research and Data Analysis

I contribute to quantitative and qualitative analyses that examine how institutional practices shape STEM outcomes for students. Specifically, I have helped iterate surveys for data collection, created data management practices, and used NVivo and R for data analysis and visualization.

Kickstarter 2.0

Grant Research Support

I support research efforts through conducting data analysis of surveys and interviews and contributing to research publications. This research currently utilizes transformative adult learning theories and organizational science frameworks within HSIs to uncover the factors that contribute to successful communities of practice in the Kickstarter 2.0 grant.

Economic Impact Projects

Consulting Research Associate

I am currently consulting with Arth Analytics to support data collection, analysis, and research. Currently, I am supporting a project analyzing the economic impact of high-quality early education centers in Arizona. For this project, I have utilized market-rate, crime, and education databases. Data sources included the National Center for Education Statistics, the Arizona Department of Education, the Arizona Auditor General Databases, and the Arizona Department of Corrections to obtain state, county, and district data.

I am interested in learning more about education markets, higher education amidst federal policy change, the impacts of artificial intelligence on higher education, and the economics of education.

I am particularly excited by research and data analysis in these topics to advance equitable educational outcomes for all learners.
